Daddy and Daughter |
Dad and Luisa Ross visited Lawrence this past weekend- bringing with them banana margaritas, sake, homemade miso eggdrop soup, candles for the fireplace, and a little rain. We had a great time eating and drinking and eating and drinking and eating and drinking. Thanks to Akiko we were able to sample gyoza again! Lil Lindsay & company stopped by to keep us entertained and celebrate! Even critter had a good time. hooray!

Halloween-ers and the Halloweekend
We had a friggin' frightfully fun time in Lawrence over the past Halloweekend. It included a Final Friday Gallery Hop, drinks/billiards/sweet potato fries at the Casbah/Burger Stand, and a dance party that left us wanting.
My sewing machine and I had a disagreement towards the end of concocting my costume, but I walked away with my dignity intact. I lost count how many people asked if I was dressed as that albino elf, Legolas, of the Tolkien-riffic Epic. Guess there are worse things to be compared to than Orlando Bloom.
Here are some photos for your pleasure:
